Default bump stops

okay so i read that you guy's crank the front end up on your dakota's and put 285/75's on them.. but also see that some of you say that the upper control arm's should not hit the bump stop's .. when i cranked mine up my control arm's hit the bump stop's so i cranked them back down so that they just look like there about to hit the bump stop's and can only get 265/75 on it ...so what give's?? do you cut down the bump stop's or swap them out for a shorter one?? ..i would really like to get some 285s on it

You will have to trim your bumper or add a body lift. Do not alter your bump stops.
