Default Leveling a 97 4X4

Just finished installing some 2" lift blocks and new shocks in the rear. The U-Bolt brackets were SO RUSTED I had to grind them dowm and apply some POR-15 and paint before I reinstalled everthing. I think it came out pretty well.

Looks good man. Did you crank the torsion bars?

Also, on the topic of rust and the rear suspension... Take a look at your shackles and be sure they aren't almost rusted through. I wanted to lift my truck and since it's 2wd I had to get longer shackles for the rear. I'm glad I did, because the old ones were nearly rusted through. That would've sucked to have them snap while driving down the road.

No torsion bar crank that I know of, itkind of looks like it though? And the shackles are fine, just some surface rust. Thanks

I couldn't really tell. I think it would look good about an inch or two higher up front. I must've just gotten unlucky with my shackles. Or actually I was lucky I found them when I did lol

i did body lift last week and i have 1/8th clearance with 315s tires, putting a leveling kit would logically increase the gap right?

You should probably post this question in a few more threads.
