Hello everyone its been quite a while. Hopefully some of you remember me if not hello, Ive had 2 dodge dakota r/t's a 99 and a 2001. well i moved away from all that, joined the navy, live in hawaii now and decided that i miss the truck to damn much and need another, so recently ive been pretty hell bent on getting a fire red CC but that hasnt seemed to work out(they keep getting sold right before I get to em)

but I found this little gem and I think im gonna have to go for it. its a 2001 I believe, hypertech, k&n intake, lowered with belltech springs and leafs, and sway bars to top it off, other that that its stock, has 104000 miles and the guy before me bought it with 30k, after talking with the guy I could really tell how much he cared for and loved the truck so Im planning on taking it off his hands, what do you all think? its been a while so id like a little input on things I should check for before buying it and just your overall opinions, Im looking forward to getting back into this community!

 

If you don't buy it, I will and ship it back to Maryland. Sadly though I have an 01' 4.7 QC, so I can't give you any input other than I'm jealous. I looks great

 

yeah im torn between a few things...i like the fact that pre 2001 didnt have the precats but I love the interior of the 2001+(might be the only one haha) could I just get rid of the precats and still have her pass the sniffer with some o2 sims and a high flow?

 

How much is gas in Hawaii? lol

 

about 4.50 for premium haha so like 100 bucks a tank...damn *second thoughts* haha

 

Looks like a pretty well cared for truck. You have had r/t's so you pretty much know them. Nothing new has really come about that you need to look out for. Gas price would be the only thing I would worry about! lol Im currently paying 3.89 for diesel but im filling a 34 gal tank Either way I look at it im still saving money over my old dakota..
