This is from the FSM:

Engagement problems usually result in slip, chatter/shudder, and noisy operation. The primary causes are clutch disc contamination; clutch disc wear; misalignment, or distortion; flywheel damage; or a combination of the foregoing. A visual inspection is required to determine the part actually causing the problem.

Here's the part about the flywheel:

Flywheel machining is not recommended. The flywheel surface is manufactured with a unique contour that would be negated by machining.

Tell them what it's doing. Ask what parts they used? Did they turn the flywheel???

I'm with '98 on this. New parts, OEM, not some other brand.

If the trans mount was broken you would hear it all the time clonking up and down I know when I had my clutch done the morons didn't put the mounting nuts on the trans mount and every shift (I have a manual trans) I would hear a clunk clunk as the trans moved up and down

With a auto it should do the same I would think.
