Default my new truck

I recently got rid of my 85 f150 for a 2000 dodge Dakota quad cab 4x4 with the 5.9. its got a 3'' lift with 285-70-17'' nitto trail grappler mud grips on fuel havoc rims. performance wise its got an afe cold air intake, magnaflow single inlet dual outlet exhaust, jet throttle body spacer ( I know it does nothing for the motor but it came with it). its also got a superchips flaqpaq tuner. its only got 3.55 gears which I plan to eventually swap out for 4.10s. its got a few extra fancy things on it such as a grill guard and halo headlights and white/blue light gauges . got a nice kenwood headunit and kicker speakers in it. has almost 120,000 miles on it.

if I change the tune to fuel economy it reads about 16mpg, but on the 87 octane tune I get about 14mpg. im hoping with the 4.10 swap it will bump it up a little. eventually plan on headers and true dual exhaust too.

I ran my 5.2 on the 93 tune with 89 gas(usually .10 more than 87) and I saw 1-2mpg increase. Those tires arent helping mpg either but if you keep your foot out of it you should see some alright numbers. The 5.9 in our work truck gets horrible mileage(6-8 mpg usually) but the poor truck is driven like its stolen lol

I usually run 87-89 gas in it and set my cruise on about 65mph. like I was saying earlier I think some 4.10s would help a lot to. this 5.9has a lot more power than my 351 h.o. from my ford and the old 4.6 triton in another f150 I had.

I have added a 2003 SLT to my group. 3.9 w/a little over 75k miles. I now have 1 of each generation, although the 94 is for sale.
