Default Price for dual exhuast?

I'm getting one flowmaster 40 muffler (one in two out) and 2.25 pipes and 3" tips at 45 degrees. What am I looking at for parts and labor?

Depends on a million different things like your location, the shop you choose, etc. Best thing to do is take it to your local muffler shop and ask them.

Looking about 250 for galvanized pipe, 350-400 for stainless. I suggest just getting stainless galvanized will only last a few years at best

The prices I gave were for pipe and labor, considering you get it clamped instead of welded, also have to add in the cost of the muffler(no clue what they run)

Here in California, aluminized pipe (I don't think anybody actually makes galvanized muffler tubing because it would suck to weld) will pretty much last forever.

Imo the price for stainless pipe isnt worth it. I had aluminized on my dakota for 4 years on my dakota(in my part of pa our roads are covered with salt 6 months out of the year) It was still new looking when I sold it.

I had it done to my dakota. Was a knockoff Flowmaster muffler shops have. Forgot the name of it though. I suggest only buying stainless tips. Exhaust tubing won't make a difference one bit whether its sst or not. It'll last as long as the truck either way. Wanted $220 plus tax for parts and labor. I asked if there was a cash discount offered $200 cash because some ppl can't afford things they don't need and use credit cards. Muffler shops like green. Use it to your advantage.

Yes I meant aluminized. I had it on my truck for 3 yrs and one tail fell off, then the other, and now it could be replaced from the cat back. I got a piece made and brought it out between the frame and body to get me by for now. Full stainless coming as soon as I get new tires

I live in central pa....maybe its because in my area they use the liquid calcium now more than salt. Not sure if its any better or worse for our vehicles

Sounds like you got very cheaply made exhaust. My 5in on my ram is a little over a year and a half old and it looks like it was put on last week. Im also in central pa lol
