rear differential gear swap
Basically, you'll need the gears, an install kit, and oil. You should probably also get axle seals.
That said, ring and pinion swaps are NOT for beginners. The job requires special tools, a fair bit of mechanical skill, and a lot of patience to do correctly. If you don't do it correctly, you will likely trash your new gears in short order.
Consider having the job done by a professional.

You could do it yourself.....But don't whine when this happens to you because the backlash wasn't right.
As we proved tonight, a gearset can be set up right but be no match for 1,000 HP....800 1/8 mile passes on the set, set by a master axle tech. (dana 60)

maybe i just got lucky or was patient enough and/or had enough marker paint, i have a trac-loc in mine w/3.55 gear and did it myself with no special tools on a 02 dakota 4x4 approx 1 1/2 yrs ago not a prob since but it did take alot of time to get the backlash set right, the brochure/instructions gave me a specific pic of the way the marker paint shoulda looked heel to toe of the gear mesh, so it can be done, oh the diff was pre assembled for me as well, i have heard you need a special tool to load the clutch paks on the spiders

If you changed the ring and pinion, how did you measure the pinion depth? If it wasn't right the first time, how did you get the bearings off to change the shims without a puller? What about the pinion preload? How many inch-pounds did you set that to? How do you know without an inch-pound torque wrench? How did you apply enough torque to crush the preload sleeve? With a ratchet? What did you use to torque the ring gear bolts? How did you measure your backlash? Just by looking at a picture? No dial indicator? How did you set the carrier bearing preload without the special tool to turn the adjuster nuts? What did you torque the carrier bearing adjuster nuts to?
Just wondering because I don't see how you can do the job right without all those tools. Not trying to sound like a butthead, but it really isn't a job for the backyard mechanic.
