Default Help with back window

I have a 2002 Dakota Club Cab that has a back broken window (don't ask!) I am just wondering what I need to do to replace the window. I bought a replacement window at a junk yard for $35.00 so now I just have to get the old gasket and remaining glass out and get the new one in. I stopped at my local NAPA and told them what I was doing and they gave me a tube of $15.00 stuff called Windo-Weld. Is this all I need to use to adhere the new glass? Thanks in advance.

These encapulated windows are a serious PITA. You have to literally cut the seal all the way around from the pinch weld area. Then you have to prime the metal and apply the adhesive then install the glass. If these are like GM trucks, you'll need to remove all teh interior trim first and look for hold in brackets. Never heard of windo-weld. We used the same adhesive/sealer as teh factory used. But after you put it in, you need to let it set up. Roll teh side windows down BEFORE shutting the door after its done or you could cause the seal to blow a hole in it and create a leak.
