Default Dakota shifting

My R/T CC shifts well from 1-2 and 2-3 but if I'm on the gas accelerating, 3-4 shift won't occur quickly unless I back off the accelerator a bit. Tv linkage adjustment didn't do much. Fluid will be changed tomorrow and bands adjusted. Is this fairly normal for a lot of you? Its been doing this a for a while. Running hemifever SCT 89 tune.

Mine sometimes does the same thing... let me know if the fluid change and/or band adjustment works for you.

The 3-4 shift is 100% electronic. The OD unit is basically a gearvendor's unit shoved on the end of the transmission. Turning one single wire on engages OD. It's up to the PCM as to when that wire is turned on.

Makes sense. Guess I have to consider what effects the programmer has too. It's not a big deal to me..more of a curiousity.
