I'm needing to get exhaust manifolds for the 5.2 that I'm getting ready to put in my truck, and was wondering if I would be okay getting used manifolds to use on it or should I bite the bullet and buy new ones? The reason I'm asking about used is money is tight right now and just found out ill need them after I had already got everything I thought I needed.

 

Obviously, new ones would be best. But there's nothing wrong with used ones as long as, well, there's nothing wrong with them.

In other words, if they're not cracked or warped, have no studs broken in them, etc., go for it. The new ones will be used as soon as you use them, anyway.
