Default "Bulletproof" Ball Joints

From my understanding these go bad so often due to a design flaw, has anyone figured out a longer lasting fix to this issue?

the problem was bad ball joints on certain years not that they all have a poor design or all go bad

Well I have a 2004 quad cab 4.7 4wd that squeaks and bangs while turning (mostly at full lock) so what are your suggestions?

Exactly the answer I was looking for, thanks!

Do you have them on your truck? Has anyone had any problems with them?

I still have OEM balljoints on mine, probably cause it has less than 60,000 kms haha.

Everyone recommends Moog - I'll be going with them whenever mine bite the dust.

Do your research on ball joints. I went with Raybestos pro grade also.

I put Moog ball joints and tie rods on my Dak about 3 years ago now and they have been perfect. My alignment hasn't budged a bit which is almost impossible on a 4x4 and they are greaseable. I usually give them a greasing when I rotate tires or check my brakes. Look on Rockauto.com or Amazon, got a great deal on all of the parts when I did mine.

When I did mine I bought reybestos but they wound up being the wrong ones(new local parts store got it wrong) wound up putting moogs in. But on a side by side comparison I could hold the moog and move the peg all around but the reybestos ones would not budge
