Default Short Ram vs. Cold Air

Hi there,
I want to change the intake on my 2001 sport 3.9L. I was wondering if a short ram or a cold air intake is better for mileage/sound. thanks

Honestly I have never seen a mpg or hp gain with a cold air intake. As for sound, they definitely make a difference when you get rid of the stock intake. On the 4.7 the stock airhat eliminates the sound so taking it off makes a huge sound difference. It sounds great.
