Default My 98 Dodge Dakota AC vent problems

My AC vents are only working out of the defroster and then on the floor vents. Why aren't the Face vents working I have a good vacuum and I can hear things switching but nothing coming out of the Face vents it does come out very very slightly but barely can someone help me

Welcome to the forums.

I moved your post into a new thread and deleted the duplicate post.

The system defaults to "defrost" when there is no vacuum. You may have a leak in one of the vacuum lines (probably the brown one) OR the actuator for the "panel" may have failed, OR a linkage has come off/broken.

Check for vacuum. The brown line controls the panel actuator (full position) and the red line also controls the actuator (mid position).

It has good Vacuum. And it works Defrost If I put it on Defrost. And it works on floor if I put it on the floor. But if I put on AC Mac it only comes out on the floor and the face vents very very very lightly. Why is that?

There are 3 actuators. Floor/Defrost, Panel/Defrost, and Recirc. The blend door is cable operated.

Two vacuum lines go to each actuator. They have to have vacuum or be vented at the proper times for the system to work correctly. You may have vacuum to the control but if it isn't getting to where it's needed and being vented when it should, your controls won't work.

I've attached a vacuum schematic for you.
