Default Transmission replacement

Lost reverse in my old transmission and when I dropped the pan there were parts in it so cheapest and quickest way to get back on the road is to put in a junkyard one.
I've got an '01 2 wheel drive with the 3.9l
My question is what filter and are there two of them and how much ATF +4 do I need the yard said all fluids were drained so I'm thinking that the torque converter needs filling also.
My old one lasted 215,000 miles

If you have a 42RE transmission like my 2000 Dakota, the service manual says the it will take 9.1 - 9.5 liters of ATF4 the refill the transmission completely. If the torque converter had not been drained, it would take 3.8-4.0 liters.

Advanced Auto will be able to tell you which filter as long as you know what transmssion it is.
