How wonderful my battery decided that even though the truck cranked up just fine about 5 hours previously, it was going to take a turd on my right as I went to leave work. Trying to also find some lights, i want to mount them to the hood or the A pillar somehow since I actually plan to use my bull bar, and don't want the expense of lights to come out of that. Plus I like the look of it.

funny story, on my way home from work tonight I pulled into my complex to see two people pushing a ranger, and pushing it into the curb by accident. figured what the hell I'll go see if I can lend a hand. Turns out it was a kid I went to high school with and they hit a speed bump and it just died! Haha! Found On Road Dead actually has a meaning now! had to push him back to his house, all while trying to hold back a giddy little kid giggle! haha

Awesome looking truck. Nice job, tasteful. I like the color too... but I may be bias.

@bpark -- thanks! Trying to keep it as functional as possible and still keep it a DD. None of this "CenCal" bs is ever going near my vehicles!!

@sl2racer -- yes I am aware of that now, silly me I was too lazy to look under the hood before I first ordered the fan. However the GC fan absolutely trumps the stock fan in size and output

i may not know where you are from but i live in florida and tow with my truck even in summer times and i am only using the stock electric fan without any cooling issues. i actually don't see a reason to go with a different fan. so it really seems like a lot of unneeded work on your part.

Sl2racer -- yes I believe you on that, however the fan is 9 years old and with alot of highway driving, an offroading in it's future I do not want to risk overheating. Especially when money will be tight when I am back at school. It's more of a "preparation" than anything else. Yes the stock fan might work well, and you're probably right, but I really don't want to have to leave my truck stranded on the highway, or in a ditch or trail somewhere (or towed out by the most embarrassing thing of all.. A Chevy!) because I didn't take the appropriate precautions.

Shanker30: what size/load did you get your tires in? I have been going back and forth between the authority like you have and the duratracs. I'm going with 265/75R16 load E.

Roller - They are 265/75/r16s I'm not sure on the load I'll have to double check the load tomorrow. If you keep the stock rims with the authorities the will be way light, so lighten the psi a little to compensate for bouncing around. when i first got the truck i think they may have been over inflated a little and it was like driving on 4 basketballs going over potholes. boing boing boing
