I've seen in the later Dodge trucks (Atleast the Rams), have an underseat storage "bin". I was thinking, why not make one out of fiberglass? This is what my backseat looks like. P1000020.jpg

I was just curious if I could cut 6 to 8 inches into the fabric underneath the seat and not hit anything important. I would just cut into the "outline" of the sections.

 

Just look under the truck where you'd think to be cutting.

 

Not sure but id take the extra time to pull the seats out and pull back the carpet just to make sure that you are good. A little insurance if you ask me.

 

I looked at doing this before and at least with my truck you'll be cutting into your gas tank...
