Default No oil pressure after head gasket replacement

Just completed top end refreshing on my 01 Dak QC. All new gaskets and freshly surfaced heads.

Finally got everything put back on - topped off fluids and it started almost immediately. Despite some WD40 burning off my exhaust manifolds sounds like she's running smooth as silk.

Just one problem - no oil pressure. I didn't let it get up to normal running temp just in case something is wrong... no need to burn anything up now. I have no clue as to what's going on...

Any ideas?

Did you torque the center bolt on the idler for the timing gears. That could cause the loss of oil pressure. Should also install a oil gauge and see how much pressure you really have.

Also, make sure the oil pressure sender is properly connected.
