Question What's your Dakota's current milage.

well basically the title says it all.. IF you current own a 2nd gen dakota, or owned one and it met the bone yard, i want to know the milage.

I'll start it off.. my dakota is a 2000 3.9L w/ 4wd. and it has 236k all original miles. aside from her most recent issue. shes been nothing but reliable.

01 durango.. That count?
179,3xx right now. No issues to date. Drives like new (rebuilt whole suspension when I got it).

Most miles I have under my belt is 334k on a 5.0 bronco. I killed it in Texas. Took 45 minutes of washer fluid, pebble rock, dirt, sticks, trash directly into the motor via oil cap.

187,8xx currently on my '97, but lots of issues. They are mostly minor, but frustrating to diagnose and track down. Currently debating the validity of trying to keep it going. We have annual safety inspections here and it is a continual challenge to keep it passing. The only saving grace is that it is rust free.

215K. Front hubs, fan clutch, fuel pump, idler arm, battery, front rotors and pads, rear seals and axles. Coil packs need replaced. I don't think the list is bad, considering the age and miles.

Change the oil about every 5K miles. 3.42 gears and I do drive sporty-like = roughly 8-10 mpg city, up to 18 highway.

Just shy of 159,000 miles on my Dakota. 3.9 V6, manual 5-speed and I believe it has a 3.92 rear end gear ratio. Ice cold A/C, good power when I need to downshift and pass someone, still climbs long hills at 55-60 mph in 5th gear with the A/C on full blast, gets 18.5 MPG mixed city/highway driving on new Firestone Destination LE2's and regular gas. It has a lot of new parts but everything I have replaced or fixed has all been normal wear and tear or maintenance items. Truck looks good for its age and runs very well, I try my very best to take good care of it, so it will take good care of me. I love my truck and don't really need and do not want anything else.

159,900 on mine currently as it sits in the parents garage while while I fix all the little issues. I need to replace the front calibers, reverse light transmission sensor, power steering leak, and it needs a new exhaust hanger.

Truck is a love/hate deal. I love the size, power, transmission, looks (both inside and out), but it has given me its fair share of problems. I know I've cursed out my truck on here many times but man I miss driving it. Haven't driven in since May and the Legacy is slow as death and boring lol.
