Exclamation Turn signals not working

I just purchased a 2000 dodge dakota and it has many problems. one of them being the turn signals not working. I checked the lights and fuses, even bought a new turn signal switch and no luck. The hazards and everything else works, just the turn signals not working. what else could e the problem??

Do all the bulbs work when you put the hazards on? There are two bulbs each side on the front.

If so, have you changed out the combination flasher? Under the dash

I just bought the combination flasher. Hopefully this solves the problem. Just have to figure out how to take the dash out

What do you mean, "take the dash out?"

You should be able to reach up there and get at it. If you want, pull off the 2 screws and the panel under the steering wheel comes off - gives you a lot more access.
