Default Getting height to my 2001 quad cab

Love my 2001 Dakota quad cab for the past 5 yrs. but would really love it to look bigger and taller. What's cheapest and easiest way to bulk it up a bit to look better. I'm due to get new tires all the way around soon too. Are there bigger rims from like a ram setup or any other cheap lift ideas. I've never modified a vehicle before either would love to see pics and descriptions of what others have done, thanks

u can run 2757016 and itll beef it up or 2657516 for tires and you do a simple torsion bar lift. 2 inch blocks in rear and just crank the torsion bars up as well

I agree with him too, 265/75/16 Cooper a/t3s are 31.5" tires. Plus the other two things. You'll have to step to get in, ground clearance will be over 10" at the axle the body/frame will be closer to 15" of clearance. This set up sounds so nice, typing it is making me consider doing it myself.

As for cranking up torsion bars, youtube has several videos of people doing it. My truck is off getting a new engine so unfortunately I can send you pics myself.

I also agree. If you just need a couple of inches, that's the cheapest and easiest way to do it. You can buy new torsion bar keys, but they usually don't give you much more lift than cranking the stock ones.

It's super simple to do. Just make sure you adjust them evenly, you jack the truck up when you make the adjustments (to take the load off the bars), and you get an alignment when you're done.
