98 3.9 5spd trans stuck n 2nd gear took top off trans tried a bar shifter will not move has any one had any luck getting this done - it has been stuck before but i have always been able to get it to move some and it came out but not this time


I was hoping it would last till winter then I can put in my new drive-train

 

Is It an AX-15 5 speed trans?

Are you low on oil in it?

 

I think it is a nv3500 it has plenty of oil you can see it from the shifter top I think Tuesday I am going to pull it and replace it with a junkyard special

 

what happens when you press the clutch down? what happens why you try to move the shifter with the clutch in and with out it?

 

nothing I even took shifter out and used a pry bar started it up and clutched it even tried with engine off and it will not move at all not even a little
