Rapid ticking

Default Rapid ticking

Ok, when I run the fan for the heater, a/c, or vent from outside there is a rapid ticking sound that cycles on and off every 30 seconds or so. My a/c is not cooling, but the heater works fine. any thoughts as to what might be the cause of this sound, and how I might fix it? Thanks in advance for any thoughts and or suggestions.

compressor sounds shot. Not sure why it's running for the heater though.

If it happens running heat and cool A/C and only if the fan is running it sounds like some stuff got down into the fan area kind of like sticking a card in a bikes spokes so you get the cool clicking noise.

To clean it out may be very hard to impossible '

do you park under a tree or tall plant of any kind and get leaves so on dropped on the truck all the time?

It should clear up at some time on its own
