me personally, I would want to hand-pick a block/motor. Be able to see how it is, where it is. Not after it's been "cleaned", gone over, ect. It's like when a used car dealership shines and polishes the top of a motor and de-greases the framerails. I don't want things to be hidden. I want to see it how it is where it is. Even as far as bringing a breaker bar and compression gauge with me and trying to turn the motor over/read compression. Yes I may only need the block, but I'd want a good core that I can use to save money or even sell to recoup money.

Ok. And I read that Edelbrock Performer RPM heads were not all that great and I found these. Which ones do you think would produce more power?
