Hey guys got a problem locating the metal retainer clips that hold the limited slip plates in place.. I opened the diff to replace the axle seals and found one of the clips in pieces in the bottom of the diff... Any help would be appreciated...


BTW 02 Dakota 4.7 4wd...

 

It's common for them to break. Supposedly Dodge redesigned them later.

If they didn't go through the ring/pinion you're good. You can swap out the carrier, easier than rebuilding it.
