weird transmission issue.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out, its easy to overlook the simple things.

Many things can make it pull to one side... loose front end components, tires are not aligned, uneven tire wear.

Started by making sure the tires are good and take it in for an alignment.

Ujoints in the front drive shaft can make this noise when power is applied to it. Low tire pressure can cause a pull a sticking caliber can too. Best to get an alignment and see where its at. I'd check all your steering components first to make sure they dont need replaced.
