Bosch iridium fine wire plugs Mobil 1 oil and filter with a wix air filter work great by me but things depend on what weather you are in I'm in Hot Arizona but my Dakota runs fine with the same setup every winter if you call that winter that is.

I run accel 8mm hot wires good wires so far been 7 years with them no problems.

Are you running with a big 62mm throttle body if so that could be the problem or the idle set screw is off you may need to adjust it I had to do that to get my Idle correct as I accidently over adjusted it.

Its easy to adjust the set screw

Have you checked for any air leaks
