Default 99 Dakota Idle Stall

When I step on the clutch, when coming to a stop, the truck stalls. Starts back up when I turn the key, but will not maintain idle. I have to continuously apply the gas to keep it running. Once I start moving, the truck runs great, then have to repeat the process.

Any ideas? Has a new PCM and all new sensors on TB...

Hi. I moved your post into a new thread.

What engine? When was the last tuneup?

How's the speedometer working? The speed sensor help control the IAC when decelerating.

Otherwise, when is the last time you took the throttle body off the truck and cleaned it all out, including the IAC passages? They can get VERY dirty.

3.9L
Tune up was last summer; speedometer works fine; TB disassembled/fully cleaned last summer; installed a new IAC...no indicator lights on.

Pull the IAC and see what it looks like.
