rear diff. exchange
hi dodge fans i have a 99 dakota slt 4x4 and i want to know if the 03 durango 2x4 will fit in the dakota . Two reasons 1. disc brake 2. 9.25 insted of an 8.25. thanks for you time .

Is the gear ratio identical? If not you can't use 4x4.
Check the spring perches. I'm not sure if they'll be on the top for the Durango rear end like in your '99.
You'll have some adjustments to do with your brakes too. The bias is likely different having discs in the back and you'll need the parking brake setup from the Durango.
8.25 or 9.25 is no biggy.
