Is a 2002 4x4 AWD Dodge Dakota drivable without the front drive shaft? My mother-in-law's wouldn't back up after it was removed and I have always known 4x4s to be able to drive without the front drive shaft. Could there have been something else going on or is there maybe something different to this type of drive shaft (AWD) making it unable to drive?
