Default 15" Wheels

Is there any issue with fit/running 15 inch wheels from a 99 Dakota on a 2004 Dakota that has 16 inch wheels? 275/60R 15 from 265/70R 16

IIRC you may run into issues with the brakes.

I believe the 15 inch rims will not clear the 11" drums/discs.

You'll need to find out which ones you have... should be a sticker in your glovebox.

I want to say that the big brake package wasn't available till 00. Not positive though.

Yeah but he's saying he wants to pull rims from a 99 and put them on an 04. I think 03/04 came standard with 11 inch breaks opposed to the 9 inch ones.

Don't quote me for sure though.

didn't catch that on the tablet. Yea, won't work. 04's have the big disks that everybody wants for the earlier years.

yea, the 15's are a nickel a dozen. I've seen them as low as $35 each. Once I get the money, I'll be looking for a set to put slicks on.
