Default more noober questions

alright, im looking into gettin another truck in the near future that i plan to put a lift on. have a chevy xtreme right now that i had a bad accident in bout a year ago and im scared ****less to drive anything lowered now. jus wanting to know what kind of gas mileage do you all get out of the 3.9L v6 and the 4.7 v8? how long do these motors last? what kind of mileage will these motors go before having any problems? right now im tryin to pick between the dakota, toyota tacoma and a nissan frontier (pretty much no go cuz of ****ty gas mileage). love the style of the dakotas and everything but i need something that is gonna last me past 120-130k miles cuz im prob gonna have watever i get for some time. also is there anything smaller than the 5.5 lift availible for the dakotas? its all ive been able to find on the net when searching around. please post up any info or answers anyone has!
