From 2001 FSM
REMOVAL - OVERHEAD CONSOLE BRACKET
(1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(2) Remove the overhead console from the overhead
console bracket. Refer to Overhead Console in
the Removal and Installation section of this group for
the procedures.
(3) Remove the headliner from the roof panel.
Refer to Headliner in the Removal and Installation
section of Body for the procedures.
(4) Remove the two screws that secure the front of
the overhead console bracket to the roof front header.
(5) Using a sharp utility knife, cut through the
double-faced tape that secures the rear flange of the
overhead console bracket to the roof panel.
(6) Remove the overhead console bracket from the
roof panel.

Without breaking something, I don't think so as it double side taped to the roof which you need to cut. I haven't needed to do this, but my thoughts are removing the headliner prevents it from getting damaged which I cant imaging is a cheap replacement.

Call a local junkyard ask if they know they know how these things come apart if anyone they pull things like that off all the time.

Look like toward the back of it (opposite the windshield side).

Here are two pics from the dis-assembly section.

Hope it helps.

i installed on in my truck you have to remover the head liner or you will rip the hell out of it. also why not use the comcole to install your Cb raido its strong enough to fold the radio just mount to the sides of it and drill the plastic and run the wiring or power off your lights in the concole it will maintain enough power to run the CB even under max load
