performance upgrade suggestions
To get rid of it there are three ways.
There is a wire that you can cut from the TCM. This only eliminates the Torque Management at full throttle.
Sonnax line booster. This is basically a pretty resistor that tricks the transmission into doing some stuff, this makes it do things.
Superchips with transmission tuning. This allows you to adjust everything on your transmission, you can evenset what amount of TM you want in each gear.
When I had my 2001 Durango 4.7L, I just cut the wire and taped it off on both ends. I figured, why would I want to eliminate TM when not at full throttle? Besides, this option is free.

Hello Fellow mopar enthusiast's.
I have a 2004 Dodge dakota slt, 4.7 auto 4x4. And I am wanting to do some performance upgrades and I am looking for some suggestions what would be best to do. Currently I have cold air kit and Thrush muffler only. Looking at Jet performance stage 2 chip, or maybe Some gibson Headers, Or possibly A new throttle Body. Just looking for some ideas. that will not completley break the bank.
Thanks For the help!

A throttle body spacer is a useless paperweight for our fuel injected engines, don't waste the money. I believe the resistor you're talking about is for the inlet air temperature. It tricks the computer into thinking its like 10-20 degrees colder outside, all the time. By doing this it causes your computer to pump in more fuel. I'm not actually sure how well those work, I've got no personal experience with them.

i have an 4x4 4.7 with a BBK 70mm throttle body and yes it works great added low end torque and better responsiveness, as well as 1-2 mpg gain where would my TMR wire be located at??(Do I have a 3 prong ECM)
