Default Shifts with SCT

I have an SCT 91 program loaded onto my 99 CC R/T. I have noticed that the shifts are a bit delayed from 3--4 gears and not as firm as it is without the programmer installed. Any particular reason? Shifts perfect without programmer. Getting ready to install a TF -2 shift kit and 2400 stall converter.

just the added power. The SCT doesn't control anything with the transmission.

I reckon so. I guess I could try to adjust the TV linkage some more with the program loaded on and see if that helps the shift points.
