If I let my truck sit for 2 or more days without running, my battery drains to the point that the truck won't start. Using a multimeter to test the circuits, I came to find that my meter reading would drop by .08 amps when I pulled the 20 amp "trans" fuse. Is this enough of a draw to be causing my battery woes and what could be causing the draw? Thanks fellas
To draw 200 amps (enough to cause a no-start) in 40 hours is 5 amps drawn per hour, or 1/12th amp per minute. That's if my rough mental math is correct.
how much current draw do you show with the key off and removed, and doors closed (all lights and dingers should be off)? There should be well under an amp or two at most.
