I used to have a commercial spec. Ford E350 van. Kept warping the disks, so I replaced the OEM style ones with Raybesto heavy duty ones, from Checker (O'reilly's.) Problem solved.
Rather than jawin' about cracks we can't really see, I'll take your word for it. Now go get some heavy duty drums, new wheel cylinders, maybe hardware kits, and shoes and be done with it. & when the time comes, as it inevitable will, overbuild the disk brakes, too.
You officially have my permission to spend a bunch of your money. If you really want to spend money, get a rear disk brake conversion kit.

Everything but the drum on that side is new springs and all in 2011. I kept the drum with cracks as I didn't have the $$ to replace both even though the shop that turned it said they are ok.
I don't need your permission to do anything Brian but thanks for the kind and truly worthless words of wisdom.
