Hello all, I'm a newbie here, just bought a 97 Dakota Sport with the 3.9 auto, 2WD. I am wanting to get a topper for it and I found one that came off of a 2004 Dakota. Since they are both 2nd generations are the beds the same length & width? I don't have any info on the 04 that it came off of. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks.

 

There is a 6.5 ft bed (Reg cabs / Ext cabs) and a 5.5 ft bed (Quad Cabs).

As long as its the right length it will work no problem.

 

if it came off a quad cab (4 doors) & you can't use it, i'll buy it off you.
