Stock or OEM are good the aftermarket are better but $$ around $80 so stock $20 are fine.

Well I didn't notice anything different going to an excel coil I can go with a wider sparkplug gap so that's a plus. Its an improvement but I don't think you will notice any power from it. The OEM coil is considered to be a good hot coil.

I will also say aftermarket coils tend to burn out faster

Best upgrade for the 2.5 is good plugs a 4.0 jeep throttle body a true cold air intake and move the air temp sensor to the air hat and out of the intake manifold. A set of new O2 sensors will help.

A new project I'm starting is to ad in an oil catch can this is to stop oil from getting sucked into my intake manifold by the CCV breather system and to help cool down the hot air that its breathing down my manifold.

My choice is this model around $80

I have an Accel coil on mine. I bought it because mine took a dump, not necessarily for more power (which is a good thing because it made absolutely no difference).

I have my breather tube completely unhooked on the valve cover side. The hose split and I just never replaced it.
