For those that have bled abs with scan tool
I have been having trouble trying to get my brakes to bleed. My master cylinder went dry and sucked a ton of air in the system. I have bled and bled the brakes in the correct sequence, and had the hcu bled via a scan tool. Still no luck.
My question is for those that have done this, did you have ANY pressure after the initial bleed but before having the scan tool done? I dont have any, (I suppose I can build a little with the truck off, but still push the pedal to the floor pretty easy) and I'm starting but wonder if I have a faulty reman'd master cylinder. I replaced it before doing the abs scan bleed but I wonder if my original was bad. I have never done a master cylinder before, and yes I bench bled it before.
I tries to bleed my old mc on the vise too... I noticed with that one I got good pressure through the clear lines out of both orfices... With the reman'd one the back firewall side orfice didn't move nearly as much fluid as the front... Is that normal or a sign of being fauly?
