hi i recently bought a 4x4 4.7 dodge Dakota quad cab, and the oil pan leaks a bit and after looking under it, it seems to have been fiberglassed a few times before, looks like withfiberglass cloth and resin...... anyways i want to try putting more fiberglass over it and just wounering what i need to buy... so can i just go pick up some regular fiber glass resin and slap it on or do i have to buy high heat stuff?? i do have a can of reinforced fiberglasss body filler but i was worried it might burn or something because theres no heat rating on it, anyways so would love it if someone could tell me what i need to buy for this job it be great thanks!

 

You need to buy an oil pan. That's what you need to buy.

 

Or grind off the glass and use JB Weld.
