Help Choosing Amp
The smaller plug with the green/red factory amp remote wire also has the inputs for the factory amp. These input wires run from the radio down to the amp. The factory amp does not have rca inputs like your Kicker amp does.
The larger plug with the purple and blue/black wires is the speaker output side of the amp. To bypass it connect these wires:
Green/white to light green/red
Brown/red to light blue/black
Purple to light blue/red
Blue/red to light blue/Black
Brown/yellow to white/red
Brown/light blue to white/black
Blue/orange to tan/purple
Blue/white to tan/dark green
This will bypass the amp and now the speaker wires at the radio location will be connected directly to their respective speakers. Be sure to test the speaker wires at the radio harness by plugging in the aftermarket metra harness and checking the speakers wires with a 9 volt battery. The white should be left front gray is right front purple is right rear and green is left rear. The wires on the metra harness with black stripes are negative.
Also be sure you get the polarity correct at each speaker location when you install the new speakers. If the polarity is reversed you will lose bass response and sound quality.

Is the wire in the wire harness or is it clipped to the back of the radio? If it is attached to the radio it is a ground but don't use it for ground on your new deck. The factory grounds are not that good and it is best to run your own ground wire down to the kick panel and ground it under an existing bolt or factory installed screw. Use about a 14 gauge wire and keep it as short as possible. This is especially important with a modern higher powered deck.
If the purple gold wire is just there but not connected to anything just leave it disconnected. It could be for an optional steering wheel radio control and is not needed for the new deck.

Just leave the purple wire disconnected. Did you not get the Metra harness that plugs into the factory radio harness and has the wires that match the wire harness on your new deck? If not it is best to go to Autozone or Advance and pick one up. Metra is teh brand name, here is a link with a pic and the Auto Zone part number:

The harness will make it super easy to install the new deck. Wire it up color for color and you don't have to worry about checking for power or speaker wires in the dash.

Yes that will make the lights on the new deck dim down a bit when you turn your parking lights and headlights on. It will not make the lights on the new deck dim down variably with the dash light dimmer like the factory radio did though.
