A little help with what these are?
Hi Monkey, welcome to the forum.
Some of those are the remains of the clutch pack retaining clips. You have (had) a limited slip differential. It's probably not working very well.
There is a chance that more pieces can break off and possibly go through the gears. If that happens there'll be some damage. Also, without them there is a chance of some housing wear.
Mine failed at about 100k and I rebuilt the clutches at the same time. Dodge seems to have revised the newer part.
What are you running in the NV3500 for fluid???

Same thing happened to me.
Still wondering on the question above, and also, is what I dropped in my shopping cart in the screenshot below all I would need to rebuild the broken pieces?
Thanks in advance!

I just replaced the carrier. It was fairly quick and easy. Supposedly Dodge has changed the parts since '00.
But, mine wasn't making noise and the ring/pinion were undamaged. The spiders gears in were pretty worn though.
I can't view your cart. It's too small so when I zoom in it's all a blur.
I've attached two pics, the pieces from my diff and a shot of the spider gears.

Tried a bigger screenshot. Basically its: YPKD44-PC-T/L: Dana 44 & 9.25 Chrysler TracLoc clutch kit, YSPCC-001: 9.25" Chrysler C/Clip, and YK C9.25-R-A: Yukon Master Overhaul kit for '00 & down Chrysler 9.25" rear differential.

I don't have my receipt for the carrier, but I think it was about $280. I only replaced the bearings on the carrier since it came with new.
I just pull the old carrier and put the new one in.
It looks like you have the parts covered though.

You can't tell until you take a good look at it/get into it. I went over the ring/pinion with a fine tooth comb so I knew they were good. The spiders looked "rough."
You could likely find a complete differential from the boneyard for less. Yes its a gamble.

Called a local diff shop that is 2 miles from my house. He said they could take a look at it and diagnose for $80. If I have them do it and the carrier is ok, it's $1000 out the door with a 12k mile warranty, or 12 month.
