Default 1.7 Harland Sharp Rollers

I have been thinking about buying 1.7 hs rocker rollers for my 5.9 rt. I was wondering if anyone here has done the swap? Also what is the difference between adj. and non-adj. rollers. Also will the new lift of the 1.7 fit underneath my mopar valve covers? Any advice on this.

ive been thinking about doing this to mine also,i heard they wont fit under stock valve covers, unless you take the baffle out..the non adjustable ones are the easiest to install, just bolt em on and your done...the adjustable ones you will need to preload the lifters, definatly more time consuming..if you dont know how to do this, check youtube on how to adjust valve lash..

Just like 44Dakota stated the adjustable take time and knowledge, non-adjustable are an easy install as well as fit under stock valve covers. They are worth it. Here is my write up for installing them on my 1993 Dakota 5.9 Magnum.

Here is my thread on the install. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2065727-post3.html

Crazy4x4Rt what type of valve covers do you have? I have the black cast iron mopar magnum covers. Will those give me enough clearance

A little here and there. The SCT was worth the most. With SCT (hemifever), 1.7 RR's, clutch fan delete, and a few other things, I went from a mid 12 second 1/8 mile to high 10's and I'm picking up slicks this week and spooled it a month ago, going to try and make low 10's or high 9's.
