Default trany slipping and hesitation

hey all, my 2000 dakota has 214k miles on it. runs good but trans just started to slip, when i leave driveway slips for a min or two then fine all day. thinking of adding treatment to it, any sugestions? also when i get below half tank gas runs like its running out of gas after trucks parked. i kinda pump pedal and it picks right up,leave truck run and runs fine all day. shut it off at store does it again then runs fine. tried gas treatment and no lights on in dash, any sug. thanx

check the fluid in the transmission if its dirty replace it that could be you problem. check you transfer case for oil. alot of the time no one ever checks it and the fluid is beyond low. three check the front and rear diff levels and colour. i changed my trannny fluid and added new filter and after about a week, wow it was a whole new transmission.
