I am in highschool and I have a part time job, so I don't make great money. I was wondering what I could to to make my truck look nicer,but not empty my wallet.

you can make a homebrew intake, delete the clutch fan and stick in a colder thermostat, and dump the exhaust behind the cab before the axle. That should get you started for about $100

 

Wax, tire shine, polish up the wheels.

Clean the interior, floor mats, clean windows, armorall the dash and vinyl on the doors.

More time than money involved.

 

dont need no pretty stuff, get it moving faster first.

 

I think that one depends on what you prefer personally. I prefer my truck with "a fresh coat" of mud obviously

 

What is the purpose of a homebrew intake. And is it easy to install I am not very handy with that kind of stuff.

 

That thermostat is not going to help fuel mileage btw

 

Homebrew intake is making your own intake to help out the power and mileage of your truck. you can make your own that works just as good as most bought ones

Never said that, it will help to keep the truck cooler and help to make a better "built" engine stay in harmony
