Default Stupid Exhaust Leak Question

I've been noticing an odd sound from under the hood that's turned into what is an obvious exhaust leak. I can't fix it today and I have a long road trip this coming week.

Q: Will I run the risk of engine damage or failure if I drive up to 800 miles?

Thanks,
Robb

Never mind... it's not in the engine area, 2 year old muffler has a hole in it.

Throw a muffler bandage on it. It should last long enough for your trip.

What brand did you buy?

A Muffler should last around 6 to 8 years or more

I know!

Maxi Auto installed it. I'll be calling them tomorrow.
