i think i might not have a dakota anymore>>
ive been noticing from other ppl . this was the first accident i had with it. i think the fact that i changed the shocks and bushings about a week ago help the truck not take to much of a beating.
yea i've been looking at the parts cost and it seems like it would be easy. probly about a good weekend worth of work.
so if the they decide to give me the worth of the truck instead of fix it. i would be able to do the work no problem.

I got hit in the front corner by some dumb bitch that ran a red light and turned in front of me last year. Her lexus suv had the back door pushed into the middle of the back seat. The extent of the damage was the bumper pushed into the fender some, the fender crunched a bit, headlight bracket and fog light broken, gouged wheel, and front end knocked out of alignment. So I needed a new bumper, fender, lights, and wheel replaced. The total came to right under 2 grand for repairs if that gives you some idea on cost.
Make sure you do lots of arguing with the insurance company too, they will try to screw you. I ended up having to let my insurance company (nationwide) go after USAA because they just wanted to dick around.
