Exhaust leak
Hey everyone,
Having a problem with an exhaust leak. I have a 99 dakota 3.9L 4x4. The leak is coming from what looks like where the last bolt on driver side back sits, bolt is broke in cylinder head.. was wondering "easiest" possible way to try to fix this without having to change the head and buy all new stuff again.
Its obviously a tight fit back there and getting a tap i don't think would work since you cant really move anywhere to get anything lined up correctly... and i was wondering if there might be a special clamp i could buy for a temp fix until i have money to just redo the whole thing properly but any ideas are awesome im kind of stumped!
thanks

Depends how far the bolt is broken off inside the head. Best case is you pull the manifold and the bolt is sticking out some. Most guys will then try and weld a nut to the broken bolt and extract it. The heat will usually break the bolt loose.
