Reversing a lift kit
Here is one I have a 2000 dodge dakota and they tell me that it has a factory lift kit Way to high for me as I want to haul my motorcycle Is it possible to lower my truck back down when it has a factory lift kit???? It is a 4X4 with the extra cab running the 4.7 5 speed
I moved your post into a new thread.
There's no such thing as a "factory" lift kit. The 4x4 is by default higher than the 2wd version. The spring perches on the rear are on top of the axle instead of under as on the 2wd version. The front is torsion bar vs coil spring.
Why do you think it has a factory lift?

Or buy the smallest cheapest trailer that Harbor Freight sells, bolt one ramp of a two ramp set to it, and then one of those front wheel chock things that HF sells. A little OSB to cover the side gaps and provide a walking surface and you're all set up.
It's what I did, and I have no problems transporting my KLR anywhere I want to go.
