33x10.5x15 on stock wheels
I've searched on here and other forums and can't get a definitive answer. Will the 33x10.5's fit the front without rubbing with a torsion bar crank? The rear on my truck has helper springs and already has enough clearance in the back.
A friend has some BFG KO's on 15x8 wheels (jeep) and we rolled one up next to the front 31x10.5. It looks close, being stock, but will they clear with the TS lift?
2000 QC 4x4 4.7 v8 45rfe 3.55's. If they do fit, 4.10's will get swapped in as well.

I ran 32/11.50/15's on my dakota with a tb cranks and it only rubbed at full lock. 10.50's should be fine. Unless you can get cheap 4.10's it wont really offset any mpg if thats what you are looking for. Power will be effected slightly but being a v8 it wont be too bad. Could always just do some performance mods. These trucks come stock with 31/10.50's so not really a big tire change. If you were going with 35's then it would be worth it to swap but id personally save the money.

I'm looking at the 10.5's for increased load bearing (tire wise), and ground clearance. Plus it would look like a "real" truck!
Haven't had a truck in over 20 years. Even though it's a short bed it's been handy. I'm looking at some towing, hauling, camping, and hunting. 4.10's on 33's (32.8) would net around 22-2300 rpm at 70 mph in overdrive.

Tire size doesn't usually equate to load bearing. Tire design does.
I run 33x12.5 Goodyear Duratrac. More than enough strength for what a Dakota will go through.
Same deal. Hunting, hauling, mud, gravel, highway, daily commute, etc.
But its the make up of the tire. Not the size.
Though its a sweet *** tire.

I run 33x10.50 BFG Mud Terrain tires on the stock 15's. They rub a bit at full lock. I cranked the t bars about 1.5".
A body lift would not make a difference as they only rub on the frame. I've just learned not to turn the steering wheel all the way. My Jeep had a steering adjustment, the Dakota's don't seem to have any sort of a steering limiter. A rim with the right amount of backspacing or a set of wheel spacers would solve this problem.
